A honey badger was foraging around at the start of the Dalkieth loop.

Unfortunately, it was far away so we only got a few proof pics

But a honey badger in the bag none the less. O:V

It was already 7.45am by the time we reached the 14th Borehole loop, and our day was only starting

This giraffe family delayed our progress for quite some time

The cute baby was obviously very attached to it's mother

What a start to the day indeed! ^Q^ On our last trip that would have been good for about four days in total lol

The cheetah is Shesha. He used to have a brother. But those stupidoes got in a fight with Gustav and Gandalf and the guys lost their respective coalition partner while we lost two young healthy and strong males 0'

The newly born giraffe is too cute :-) Thank you for the close-ups showing the legs, there were three missing lol
That's where I saw my first giraffe drinking \O

Thanks everyone for all your comments as usual 0/*

We carried on south from 14th borehole down as far as 13th borehole, where we had seen the lions the previous evening

The male lion was still in attendance, but so were a whole lot of other scavengers trying out their luck

In particular, black backed jackals

After watching the goings on at the waterhole, we decided to head back to Mata Mata

This African Wild Cat was not interested in waking up for a photo, so we carried on

Finally camp, and a time for a bit of a chill
