Lisbeth, that old wooden stump has been there for a long time. It's about a kilometer before the Nossob camp in the middle of the riverbed, and looks just like a man standing there

We returned to Nossob, and headed straight out of the north gate after a quick pit stop.
It was 7.30 when we came across these male kudu just before Cubitjie Quap

Carrying on, as we were approaching the Kwang waterhole (25km north of Nossob), Debbie spotted some movement off to the left

The lion was walking towards us and towards the waterhole

At the waterhole he spent a bit of time posing there, as only a male lion can

After drinking, he turned around and was soon out of sight in the dunes

Wow! What an impressive, handsome male!

Isn't there something strange about the left-hand side of his mouth :-?

Yes Lisbeth, it certainly seems as if he has g[had an injury to his mouth

Our lion sightings weren’t over for the day yet. O\/ O\/

We got to Bedinkt only to find a very sleepy lady in the loops on the left hand side of the waterhole as you are headed north

She was creating a bit of a traffic jam, so we decided to let her be and started back to camp

It was really windy and dusty on the way back, which unsettled these wildebeest back at Kwang

Back at camp we started getting ready for our move to Gharagab the next day, and went for a swim

Here is a pic of Debbie holding court in the pool. (One of the couples being parents along with me in my son’s pre primary school.... Small world :o0ps: )

That evening we did pork sausages on the braai, and a storm rolled in

It rained heavily overnight, but we were fast asleep. :-)

Catching up, Gavin! :o0ps:

What lovely sightings, and MANY cats a day! X#X

I love the gemsbok with the sandgrice, nice pics! [O]

Those lions don't look well at all, I'm afraid, something wrong there...
