Monday 13 November 2023

Ok so Debbie made me stay away from work for an extra day, and put more pressure on me when I get back
But wow Debs .... You called this I don’t mind how many extra hours I need to put in after this morning’s sighting

We woke early.
Our last full day in paradise
And decided to change the ritual of heading north to Kij Kij and to go south
We were really glad we did

500m out of camp we saw this

Walking along the Botswana Side of the road right towards us...

The pictures will tell the story for now............

(In no particular order)

What a gorgeous morning sighting, Gavin! ^Q^

Didn't know there were jeep-jockeys in KTP?

So after a while the pride past us by and moved into the sun so we could bet a few more decent photos

Not for long though, as they soon headed off into the dunes past the Rooiputs Lodge and away from our cameras

We then turned north again (instinct?) and drove up to Kij Kij

The three Pygmies (a young coalition of male lions) were at Kij Kij but pretty flat up on the dunes

After watching them for a while it was time for me to go down to Twee Rivieren to try and process the payments I needed to process for work.
