I think, I need to get my act together as well and put some praise on here for my KTP trip:
Firstly, to a welcoming and efficient reception desk at Twee Rivieren - Stella, you do your name proud, you are a star!
Secondly, the camp assistants in the wilderness camps
at Kieliekrankie - Willem and Jacques, at Gharagab - Eric, at Grootkolk - Franco and at Urikaruus - Jacques and Eric.
(For those who don't know: the Jacques mentioned in two camps is the same person, the Erics are two different people.
In KTP a camp assistant is on duty for two weeks, then one week off. There is always three camp assistants for two camps
whereas two are in only one location and the third rotates between the two camps for his two week stint. I.e. Willem is
at Kielie, Eric at Uri and Jacques at both - and it works similar for the other camps.)
Willem fixes the table on the deck within the ten days inbetween our first and our last stay on the last trip.
Eric at Gharagab helped us to get our tyre changed.
Franco went out of his way to help me ID birds and generally shared lots of knowledge with us.
Jaques went out of his way to make us happy campers when we experienced a mean bat problem at Urikaruus.
Then Nossob: The reception desk people have changed. Before they were efficient. Now they are friendly and efficient.
Plus, the fridge/freezers have been exchanged since our last stay in October.
And from our second last trip in October 2011 to October 2012 Nossob had replace missing tables and chairs on the patio.
In fact all chalets received the same kind of furniture for the outside.
There is still some way to go for Nossob, but this is a positive start.
