Aha! Interesting reading, Toko. I actually got the info. re: pygmy falcons on a night drive out of Twee R. several years ago, then also the exact same info. from our guides on the iXerry trail in 2010. I believe my pics were taken at the iXerry overnight camp.
Due to the fluid nature of scientific knowledge I'm certainly not current on much new research, so will edit the entry to avoid perpetuation of an old belief. Much appreciated!
Will leave the info. on the wild everlasting, assuming it's still held to be true. (???)
Thanks for taking care of the other entries, seems I'm keeping you quite busy...you need to send me an invoice!
Africa Wild Bird Book: Comments & Suggestions
Re: Comments and Suggestions

Please don't edit anything for now -O . Perhaps I will find some more info and then we can decide what we add to the book. -O
Re: Comments and Suggestions
Uh-oh...already did it. I can always enter the info. again later, with different facts, when it becomes clearer. Will certainly do some more research myself.

I am absolutely amazed at the superb response we had to the Bird Book/Timbi project. Your committee put up the sum of R4500 and for each new bird submitted to our bird book, we allocated R20 to the Timbi Fund. Thanks to a number of you devout Birders on this forum we have used up the R4500 and so this initiative is closed for the time being (maybe we'll start a simialr thing at a later stage)
We have acheived two things....a fantastic effort in sourcing new birds for the bird book and a great cash injection to the Timbi Fund.
Well done and thank you to all those that participated and a special thank you to our hard working lady mods for keeping the book in order, you guys are the best

Man was placed in charge and given the duty of caring for all creation, are we doing it?
