Any ideas on the behavior of these two mole snakes...mating behavior? curiosity?

When was it taken, ExFmem? October could indicate mating.
Also, could you say how long they were - approx.?

Thanks for the comments. I believe it was taken in Oct., but would have to pull up the exif info. (either Sept, Oct., or Nov.). Approximately 4 feet (1 meter, 1 foot -O -O ).
