Thanks FG, this sounds great as a jumping off spot to CKGR, so many people stop at Khama, but with an extra hour or two one could make it there.

I am speaking under correction BUT I read a story on the "other" forum about a woman tourist that was attacked and killed by a crocodile in a reserve in Botswana. She went to cool down in a shallow river and that is when the croc got her anybody know anything about this story

ok, will post soon. The croc attack is true, it happened up at Shakawe. The spot was reportedly used by a big croc to ambush goats.I may have a photo of the croc as we would pass a big croc on that spot daily, that was a month prior to the attack.
The owner of Dinaka's 9 yr old son attacked by a croc on Christmas day 2013, in Maun, at a friends house, in a fenced garden.
He has fully recovered from the ordeal though.

Okavango Wilderness Project FB Post
Recently our 9th annual Okavango Wetland Bird Survey had a very exciting team accompany us... a National Geographic virtual reality film crew!
They have created a 4 part series titled the The Okavango Experience and Episode 1 just went live on YouTube you can access it here:
Now, this is best watched with a VR headset and with headphones on... but for those without a headset you can scroll around the YouTube video!
The following 3 episodes will be released one week apart as from next Tuesday, so keep an eye out for those, and of course we will share them here too.

its not too long but takes longer as its 3d you can swing the video all around to watch at any angle quite clever technology and the end trailer of part 2 looks very
