Shinwedzi for sure , the camping area is flat and excellent to camp on, the caravan jacks is only used to stabilize the caravan and almost no lifting is needed . It's a very quiet and peacefull camp if you want to relax and recharge and you can see alot of animals if your lucky
KNP: May be one day again??

Another plus point for Tsendze is that there are no thorns, so us barefoot type have no worries with punctures.
Oh yes, and outside showers and communal freezers that work as freezers.

Sometimes it’s not until you don’t see what you want to see, that you truly open your eyes.

Re: Best Place to Camp in KNP
I voted Letaba for reasons :
I felt safe
The pool was nearby
The shops were nearby
The restaurant had great service and food
Maybe not the best game-viewing camp - but I loved it.
I have not camped in most of the Camps,
I liked Punda Maria too,
and Satara only for game-viewing,
Skukuza was okey, but it lacked the atmosphere
I will be doing Maroela with my next visit - let's see

Make sure that you get a site under the jackal berry trees as they look and are voted as the best.Amoli wrote:

Feel safe Badger, civet, etc cruise the camp (and I believe the odd hyena)
Re: Best Place to Camp in KNP
Amoli, there were 2 porcupines, an AWC and a Civet cruising around Maroela last night
