An African Love Story - Daphne Sheldrick

Post by Dzombo »

Just finished reading An African Love Story.
It is an autobiogrpahy by Daphne Sheldrick.
She talks about her time married to the late David Sheldrick, the first director of Tsavo in Kenya.
She discusses how the park was established, ranger unnits were set up and how infrastructure was put in place.

She talks about the animal orphanage she established and the many elephants, rhino and antelope that were reintroduced into the wild.

All in all, well worth a read.

Just a quick note regarding Chamberlain's LBJ's.

I've been informed by my book supplier that it is currently out of print, so do check on availability first. I believe they will be doing another print run, but unsure when?

If anyone knows differently, please update this. \O
