The Caracal does look skinny.
In fact, I was a bit surprised, as some of the lions we saw were also on the thin side.
I was under the impression that due to the drought, most of the predators were doing very well. But maybe not so?

Yes, it is a paradox. Theoretically it should be easier to hunt, because the preys should be weaker because of lack of nourishment
