Looks like a lovely garden and very quiet O:V O:V
:ty:
O-/ The prices will be increasing once more in October O/
Yep in Kruger the distances are so much further - depending on which camps one wants to stay at -O-
Addo worked well for us as you rightfully said is small enough to do it this way \O

This post we will backtrack a bit as we were far too early to book into our accommodation on our first day, so we decided to enter at Matyolweni and drive through Addo and exit at the main gate.
Then head out to our accommodation at Avoca River Cabins.
Who wants to waste precious time when it can be spent with some animals. :-0
The following are some of the animals we saw on our arrival and on our way through.
I am sure you will see far too many Ellies for everyones liking, but hey we are in Ellie world! =O: O**
We saw all shapes and sizes, who cannot say they are just such magnificent creatures ;-) and to crown it all super chilled and friendly in Addo!!
Our first animal was not an Ellie  but rather one who is noted for scratching in dung and rolling balls! =O:

First up was this Denham's (Stanley) Bustard
X#X Thanks to PJL and nan for the correct name O0

Next up Jackal Buzzard

Image

Lovely group of Hartebeest

Image

Was great to see some teenagers amongst them

Image

Ellie Mon and cutie strutting their stuff

Image

Nice congregation of this thirsty bunch at the waterhole O/\

Image

Image

Image

Zebra giving us a nice pose

Image

Hadedah Ibis - shimmering in the sun

Image

Inquisitive face of this lovely young Kudu

Image

These two Ostriches enjoying the early morning feeding time

Image

This ground snail left a wet track behind it as it moved along

Image

These resident South African Shelducks at Hapoor dam

Image

Not one Ellie to be seen – Wrong time of day! -O-
The Kudu were in abundance in the Park and could be seen around every corner.

Just adore this face ;-)

Image

While having sundowner and snacks on the deck on our first evening, we had this lovely sunset!

Image

Stunning relaxing day in the Park - who could wish for anything more - Just a perfect end to the day *sigh*!
