"Tembe" is most likely a name he only got now.
I think, this bull is none of the elephants tourists can see in Tembe, but rather an unnamed bull from the northern half of the park where guests are not allowed.
Rumours were swirling around about the new bull last weekend and that was a photo I was sent that was supposedly the bull introduced. Having seen the photos of the one in transportation it's clearly not such a big tusker as Ndoda. Who knows... maybe he'll be introduced in due course

Many of Addo's elephants are still tusk-less genetically. So the introduction of bulls with decent tusks is seen as a way of trying to help with that.

The new introduced bull is "Vincent", one of the regulars at the waterhole in Tembe.
