Fantastic stf, and even a hoopoe!!

I've taken our nectar feeder down for a while as the bees found it and were drowning in it!

Flutterby, that is strange as we do not find one bee in our bottle but we now have to fill it everyday. I put it up at 10:00 and by 17:00 it is finished.

Great shots STF!
Noise usually happens when using high ISO, try using lower ISO and fill-in flash!
It can be reduced in post processing using the Luminance slider and can also be reduced using the following technique suggested to me by Sprocky :-
"As for the "noise" problem, I have found a trick on the SS forum to sort out noise. The noise is normally in the background areas and in areas where the exposure is not spot on. I use the "surface blur" to sort that out, it also makes the image pop. Select your subjct area, then invert your selection. Apply "surface blur" to this area, you will have to check and see how much to use. Only sharpen the subject area that you originally selected. Hope I'm making sense."
