Re: Tuskers of Kruger Discussions & Identification
@ All,
I think we all recognize that time flies.... what is a day, a week, a month and now 2015 is almost history
Regarding the Tuskers ---
We lost Mpenza , once a nice tusker with two impressing tusks and collared and till today nobody can tell who collared him.
The good news:
- Many new tusker friends who found their way for sending tusker pictures so I was able to update the tusker site many many times (32 times for named and potential tuskers over the last 3 months)
- Improvements of the tusker site to make it easier and more user-friendly to find / ID or just look at the pages of all those tuskers
- Thanks to so many the tusker thread here is very "alive"
Following the news about the Tuskers (not just them) in Africa and else it is really bad , so many killed in countries like Kenya, Tanzania and Mozambique for their Ivory to please some individuals and financing terrorists. The Gentle Giants (Tuskers) deserve better and are so important for next generations.
I am still dreaming of the possibility to stay in Tusker areas for years.... I am sure this dream will be in my mind next year too .... what's life without dreams.... ?
For 2016....
Have a wonderful and healthy 2016 and don't stop dreaming

Re: Tuskers of Kruger Discussions & Identification
Moving on to 2016 is similar to a drive along Kruger's roads. After a exciting morning drive you stop at a picnic spot for a refresher and when you get back onto the road you just know that the next part of your game drive is bound to be as exciting if not better !
So here is to 2016 - it is going to be wonderful !
Lettie and Gerrie.
