@GavinW,
Just catching up with your trip report.
Kgal is on my bucket list. But I am obsessed with elephants, so Kruger is a priority for me.
One day......I will come to SA for a month. Enough time for both Kgal and Kruger

Hi everyone. We are back from our short trip to the Kgalagadi, and I can continue with this report
Sunday 5 November 2023 Gharagab and going nowhere
We woke to a peaceful and quiet Gharagab.
Looking at the lion spoor outside in the parking area, there had been quite a bit of activity during the night, not that we had noticed anyway
We had always intended to spend the day in camp at Gharagab, and we did just that
At first we were entertained by the many gemsbok at the waterhole

By 10 o clock in the morning we were bored. We had cleaned and repacked all our bags, sorted everything out as one does, swept the chalet, and we had nothing much else to do except to relax in the chalet.
Debbie and I just can’t do nothing
The sun was pouring directly into the chalet which did not help too much either as we tried to take some time out
So we took a walk around camp and to the look out at the back of the camp

We were pleased by the time evening arrived, as it started to cool down, and we took another stroll up to the lookout with some sun downers
