At Saturday's WD sighting near Malelane, we had been quite an organised bunch watching the pack for half an hour or so, when we heard a scream of "Go Closer!" from a newly arrived vehicle behind us....and they went closer!

At least they were excited to see the doggies!

when i spoke with her and her husband they said that they know that lion and he will not do anything...
in fact...
they reckon that they were sitting at a sighting of the same lion and 2 of his "pelle" the other day and the husband tells of
how he sat on the bonnet/hood of his bakkie while at the sighting.....

I have asked to my local newspaper if they want a pics or two, to illustrate why animals are killed because of human activity... specialy these two

I think they know the video of the Ellie on Youtube ? and that this Ellie was killed.

This is not a dangerous situation but it spoils it for others as Lions tend to flee with humans on foot unless they are cardboard cutout posers of the Disneyland region
