We had stayed with the lions quite a long time so gave the Sweni road a miss and headed straight up the H1-3 back to camp. Our afternoon drive took us along the H7, up the S40 and S12 to Girivana and back to the H7. It was very quiet with just a zebra at Girivana and a couple of birds.

Not sure what this LBJ is...any ideas?

We went back towards Satara and then took a short drive down the S100 before turning round and heading back to camp. So, a very quiet afternoon compared to the morning's action! O** While getting the braai ready my dad started chatting with our neighbour. His SO then came over too and we all had a long chat....turned out this was Mike Goss!! O:V I then learned that he was on the SPF and that they were going to be in Skukuza the following night, so I invited them to join us at our AW gathering. ;-) Mike and SO retired early and we carried on with our normal evening routine.

The AWC came to visit again. ;-)

And a little while later a honey badger also popped by! ^Q^ We followed him as he went foraging on the verandahs that were quiet. :O^

Nice quiet evening at Satara, with each doing his "thing" ;-)

IMO it's a Sabota lark.

Quiet afternoon, but you guys found enough in the morning --00--

AWC and badger. O/\ We never found any badger at Satara :-(

Should I wait with my TT until you are down south as I don’t want to ruin any surprises you may have for us in the Skukuza area ;-)

Ja BC, we can't be too greedy! =O: We've seen HB's at Satara on our last two trips there! O:V You go ahead with your TT...maybe just don't mention which direction you pointed us in. ;-)

You had all the luck again ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^

Perhaps the HB and AWC prefer certain bins due to the content of excellent leftovers ;-)

I would go for Sabota Lark - but then ... I am more often wrong than right with Larks =O:
