Other than that the rest of the day was uneventful and apart from one of the resident tokos - that had been hiding until then - and squirrel respectively at the camp, I didn't take any other photos anymore.

Good gracious, Mello! ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^

A caracal kill away from water! :-0

That one-eyed lioness probably scares her prey to death... O-/

Such quality pics and interesting poses and vignettes...you really are very clever! :ty: [O]

Hey, what a day  ^Q^ I could need one of those ;-)

When the cubs are so small they are simply irrisistable O/\ O/\

I suppose that also caracals must eat and a squirrel is better sized than a mouse ;-) lol I don't know how many caracals there are in KTP, but it is certainly not a common sighting.

Great text ^Q^ ^Q^ \O

Thanks, Pumbaa :-0

But if you really want to see an awesome caracal sighting, you really should go to ExFmem's travel tale.
That one was the one I was hoping to see too because I had heard about that sandgrouse chasing (and catching) one at Kij Kij.
But, alas, by the time we arrived, it had moved on. 0*\
