Agree, they are very adaptable animals Roger.
There are just over 2,000 ellies in the park Toko. I think it fluctuates depending on movements and conditions in the park/outside of the park.

I'll move off the dusting for a while (got loads more).

At the waterhole, a young bull ellie notices an older bull approaching and heads over towards him.
We were not sure what to expect, but made sure we woud be ready for any action.
They sized each other up.
Moved together head to head.
Then, completely unexpectedly, greeted each other as old comrades.
