Some wonderful photos and sightings here
KNP: May be one day again??
Re: Room With A View - Wildlife Seen From Your Camp
Another sighting from Lower Sabie Perimeter tent:
What is the perfect accompaniment to morning coffee that will awaken all one's senses within minutes?
I ALWAYS say to SO when at LS tents - "All I need to make this a more perfect morning is a leopard to appear." It's kind of a joke for us, as it seemed something pretty farfetched... not anymore
I only got this one single shot, and every monkey and impala within earshot were alerting everyone else to its presence - what an eye-opener that we certainly weren't expecting. Wide awake, we just stared at each other, bug-eyed

The next entry from our LS tent is one I posed before of the crocodiles feasting on the hippo (drought-stressed) carcass. Just a head's up in case you've already seen them.
Re: Room With A View - Wildlife Seen From Your Camp
The 2016 drought wrecked havoc on the hippos due to decreased feeding resources. These pics were taken from our veranda/porch at Lower Sabie.
The following shows the classic roll maneuver… I was surprised to see it used on dry land, but I suppose with a tough hide it becomes necessary.

Another feeding session As desperate as it was, it still must have been fascinating to watch the crocs taking care of the carcass!
And leopard... that, of course, is just amazing in Kruger

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.
