RP, the food market was actually very organised. :yes: Even the outdoor market was organised but there you have every vendor trying to get you to buy from them. O**

After the market, we caught a bus to Piazzale Michelangelo. This is a square on the south (left) bank of the Arno River with panoramic views of Florence. The square is dedicated to Michelangelo and has bronze copies of some of his marble works found elsewhere in Florence, including the David which was brought up by nine pairs of oxen on 25 June 1873.

There are not many trees on the north (right) bank of the Arno (i.e. in Florence itself). You have to cross the river to see some greenery. O**
