dangerous snake species in pietretief

I want to find out,some one in my family was bitten by some snake in pietretief,they say it was a egyptian cobra,but I don't believe them,the day just after he was bitten,he's foot went black and he suffered with his throught and chest that closed up,I want to hear if you can please tell me what snake causes that,that is in pietretief area.Please

You can google a bit, but you get all sorts of reactions depending on the health and age of the individual.

Need more info regarding time frame too?

Welcome susan ,
I think it was not necessary a Egyptian cobra but one of the other species . Best is get a local expert, hulle weet die beste.

Hi Susan the only one I could find that comes from that area is the Snouted cobra, it looks like the Egyptian cobra from the top

I agree with Dup, the doctors and experts in that area will know more or less what it is
