Feeding one of the tenors
and then does some cleaning up. Possibly a poo pellet He flew of with it and deposited it far from the nest.

They are adorable - even if they keep shouting all the time or look grumpy because they were left out while feeding.

We made our way back to the Taita Site and were there at about 3.00PM. We were there till about 5.00 PM and got a very brief glimpse of the Taita "chasing" two Black Eagles and did not even get a chance to get a photo.
The next morning we were back at the site at 7.00AM - No Taita in sight but we got the specialist nest raider for about half an hour.

The red winged starlings were having none of it
Time out
Back to work
So we will have to return another time and hope it will be third time luck to get a good Taita sighting.
