Over the last 4/5/6 years, hubby and I have started to go away over Christmas for two reasons: Our families are far away (Christmas without family is not Christmas for the northern pagans ;-) ) and the weather at home is cold. It started with three weeks, then we went to South Africa and three weeks were not enough anymore....it was still darn cold when we came back. Little by little it has become more and this year we have arrived at three months. Normally we go to places where the weather is hot, but due to Fa's ordeal and many operations this last year, I was afraid to leave Europe and go too far away. So what to do -O- Find the warmest place within Europe and that's what we have done!

Now dear pupils I beg you to watch carefully the fine lines on the rump, the bright red legs and tell me what it is........ =O:

After quite a long walk we reached the beach

In summer it must look quite different with umbrellas, beach chair and too many people 0*\ There were bars, restaurants, cabins etc. .....empty O:V apart from one bar not even too crowded.
