Road closures today 06 Feb 2024: S39, S147 ,S127 and S40 are currently closed.

⚠️IMPORTANT ROADS ALERT⚠️
Due to the current heavy rain gravel roads are being closed. Please do not enter a road with a no entry sign up, a road closed with logs, a road closed with a wire/chain across it.
Rangers have notified that the following roads are being closed. More are being assessed and could be closed. Satara and Nwanetsi recorded 75mm and still raining.
S37 and S41
S140, S36, S106, S146 and S147
S33, S34, S35 and S37

⚠️Social Media Update⚠️
Please note that the Phabeni gate low bridge has been cleared, the gate is now accessible again. Please note that the situation remains fluid with changes anticipated constantly while the park continue to receive water flow from outside too. The water could flow over the bridge blocking access once again during this time.
We will also continue to closely monitor the water flow around Crocodile Bridge with social media updates as and when required.

⚠️Kruger Roads Update⚠️
Please note that the S39 north of the Timbavati Picnic site is badly damaged and unaccessible. Access to the picnic site is only possible via the S127 and Satara Rest Camp at this stage.
More updates will be posted as received.

⚠️Kruger Road Closure Alert⚠️
All dirt roads in Satara, Kingfisherspruit and Lower Sabie have been temporarily closed. The roads were closed after the recent heavy rains experienced in those areas. More updates will be posted as received.
NB: A reminder for guests to please not risk driving on these said roads for your own safety. The Section Rangers will update us as soon as the said roads are accessible again.

The S60 gravel road to Pafuri has been temporarily closed. The Crooks corner road and linked gravel roads have also been closed. All the gravel road closures are due to the recent heavy rains experienced.

⚠️Roads Closed due to heavy rains⚠️
Please do not attempt to cross any bridges that are overflowing. Do not attempt to access any closed roads.
L/Sabie area:- Rainfall 48.6mm. Dirt roads S82, S128, S30, S122, S29, S21 and S129 closed.
Kingfisher Ranger Station area (Orpen):- all gravel roads closed.
Satara area:- Closing S36, S12, S39, S126 and S125.
H1-1 overflowing on the bridge before Del aporte. No access Skukuza via Del aporte.
Lower water bridge over Sand River at Skukuza is closed due to overflowing.
Intense rain is currently over Skukuza area, rather than

H4-1 at T junction at Skukuza currently not passable to Lower Sabie.
Biyamiti River is in flood. Biyamiti Bushveld Camp advised.

H4-1, the second detour road on Lower Sabie road to Skukuza (about 11km from Lower Sabie) - mud bridge partially washed away. Can't cross
