The 6 bed cottages are a lot better than the 4 bed cottages at sunset. The one 4 bed we stayed in had the sun shining on the water and then you can’t even sit on the patio enjoying the view. That glare hurts your eyes

It was edible, Flutts! You had to put your 4x4 teeth in though!

The next morning at sparrows Peter Betts sent an excited message that lions had been tinged at Bowkerskop Windmill on latestsightings!
(He is a huge fan!)
So myself and selected Dimwits dashed off to the spot, after ablutions, coffee and rusks, smokes etc..
(There are two toilets in the unit but it still takes time for 5 men!
)
This is where the big ellie was the previous afternoon!
And lo and behold there were indeed two males lying around!
RP: "I TOLD you we would see lion on this trip! "
Bl: " ."
Then back to camp to pack and pull, after the feeding frenzy that always happens when divvying up the leftover groceries..
These bikes are indestructible and have been an essential tool for game guards for over 100 years!
A swift dash down to Phalaborwa on the H14!
Relentless heat for a change!

Then a way along the Ngwenyeni river a parked lady stopped us and said a leopard was lying there!
It took a while to find...
...
.....
But very nice indeed!
RP: "I TOLD you we would see leopard on this trip! "
Bl: " "
And out and gone!
This final goodbye at Phalaborwa gate, quite a tourist attraction and the lizard didn't move a muscle!
This was one of our best trips ever, and we shall be going to Mopane camp at least every second year from now on!
Thank you for watching and commenting!
THE END
