Interesting: the egrets fly in first and thereafter the buffs follow.

The egrets are quite a lot quicker than the buffs are. It's difficult to fly slowly ;-)

One day, some time....

Today I took again the Albasini Road towards Pretoriuskop, I wanted to go to the Mestel Dam and then take the Voortrekker road and end up a the Lake Panic Hide.

Right at the beginning a small Three-banded Plover all by itself running around

A group of bee-eaters huddling together

Ms red-backed shrike

and a couple of not laughing doves but Green Spotted Wood Doves O**

There was a big herd of zebras spread out also quite far from each other

I couldn't resist a bumshut ;-)

We stared each other down for some time

Lots of impies all over the place in company with more buffalos
