Oooops, sorry about the break.
Our day started off with an early morning shot of another of our favourite birds.
We mozied around the park and then decided to take Kubu drive down to Lengau Dam.
A few cars were parked on the side of the road opposite Red Rocks so we waited our turn.
One of the five at Tilodi Dam.
Back at camp for lunch this Kurrichane Thrush came to visit.
The afternoon drive was very quiet with only:
A duck at Makorowane Dam.
And one of the big five causing a road block on way back to camp.

Somebody pushed me off the waggon
But I managed to climb back on again and enjoy more of your leopard
s (

), lion, osprey with a kill (even twice - marvellous!), the elephant road block (looks actually quite funny
![Laugh lol](./images/smilies/lol.gif)

Kgodisa however was the best of them all! So close

We just love the colourful birds.
I think he was one of the older ellies in the reserve.

and the big Ellie too
This shrike has an amazing colour scheme.
Never knew about the yellow part.

I think that ellie was in a bad mood because he had an enormous tooth ache.

Thanks so much Pumbaa.

I think you are right about him being a tusker - of a few years ago.

DAY 5 - TUEDAY 11 OCTOBER 2016 - MORNING.
First sighting was this black chested snake eagle
Plenty youngsters around this time of the year.
Rathlogo reflections - Mr and Mrs warthog.
Rathlogo reflections - rhino.
Rathlogo reflections - Upside down black collared barbet.
Rathlogo reflections - Golden-breasted Bunting.
Not sure what this is - a canary???????
Pilanesberg Centre mud bath.
Came across two of these guys - one was lying down in the shade - on Hippo Loop.
Same guy licking his lips.
Elephant sneaking up on a Saddle-bill Stork.
Now to head back to camp for a munch and a snooze.
