I can't wait for your next TT. How much longer does this one have to go? O** lol

That Leopard pose is an absolute classic! Legs dangling either side of the branch.

I have the records! =O:

Welcome back, Pumbaa! X#X

Sounds like a great trip...sun came out all day here for the first time in many days! ^0^

Love the postcard waterbuck pics! ^Q^

I wonder what the plants are behind the lions, they are invaders. :-(

Must be nice being a leopard, put takeaways in larder and sleep, eat, sleep.. O**

But a leopard cannot "pilchar, pizza, pork" nor other delicacies, it has to work for its food

A must stop for us is always at the N’wamanzi look out where today a troop of baboon was hanging around – Gladly they only occurred when we were about to leave the look out so we could climb off the car without being disturbed by them but for sure stopped when they appeared

Image

to take some shots especially from the cute youngsters. The elderly ones were grooming

Image

and finally after more and more baboons where blocking the road they grabbed their babies and trotted slowly away.

Image

We took again the gravel roads back to Letaba and stopped and photographed one of the many armoured crickets

Image

and another nice surprise was a sharpe’s grysbok

Image

feeding on some flowers in the thick vegetation

Image

and in one of the many causeways we crossed we came across an elephant bull

Image

drinking and feeding

Image

and then we were back in the loop where we earlier that morning had the lion pride all to ourselves and what to say they were still there

Image

but in the beginning we could not see the cubs so they obviously were taking somewhere else their afternoon nap but instead we noticed a blacksmith plover relative close to where we parked.

Most of the other adults were also sleepy and slept peacefully side by side on their favourite hill.

Image

According to the tyre tracks in that loop meanwhile also other cars must have discovered the lions as we did not drive around in the morning they could not be ours. To our luck the cubs decided to show up again

Image

and they made their way through the dense vegetation to greet mom enthusiastically.

Image

Image

At least one cub arrived whilst the other one was hanging around a bit farer away.

Image

to be continued......
