I know! RP said that it seems to happen often, which is understandable because of its position, almost in the water

That was a dry moment
With a bit of imagination, this pic shows how close the hide is to the water. It was taken before the last rains.

I suppose one can't build the hide too far away from the water, otherwise there is no point!
So that is why everything is on stilts!
