This individual is the largest Gemsbok we have seen. I'm guessing that there are not many that attain this bulk? Or have others seen them this large?

We also noticed that they like to go into the waterhole to drink, rather than stay on the shoreline.

The head and horns are heavy, so much easier to drink with the mouth at the same level as the water O**
