Don't think so, Dzombs, it is quite big as seen from the grass size?
Some wasps paralyze those big tarantulas drag them down a tunnel and lay their eggs on them

Forgot still 3 pics left for this trip!
A small dung beetle trying again!
Action shot!
And as we left this extremely odd nest tube...maybe a wasp?
End Of Segment

Having a close look on the ground and on the tree trunks, branches and hidden corners, there is always something to discover. I love the dung bills, especially in action

We returned a couple of weeks later!
Full moon, visible in the afternoon!
And quite a shock, as Dwarf was doing some renovating, as discussed, which had progressed remarkably!
A critter outside!

Next morning...the rubbish from the renovations...
But off for A Walk!
The first stretch is often through the bush on a pathway...
Pretty speckles on the body:
And a massive midden...who could the culprits be?

My comment has gone AWOL
Lovely yellow flowers
Is the tree still alive and growing?
The mass of small pellets... Rabbits, mice, rats
There are too many to be antelopes, if not a group of duikers maybe con your pretty girlfriend
It could also be sheep or goats
