Isn't it supposed to be changing?

Re: COVID Impact on Tourism in South Africa
Sooo, SA has moved down from the risk list in our country and we could easily do a trip now. BUT: we still have a voucher from British Airways. Unfortunately the Brits are not as happy with the Corona situation in SA as the Germans are and they would like to ground us for 14 days upon re-entering London Heathrow. And it doesn't matter either that it would only be in transit. Darn

Re: COVID Impact on Tourism in South Africa
I am thinking every day if it is the case to go to SA. What stops me is not the Covid, but the crime level. Actually I only have to find a safe way to go from the airport to Marloth or wherever I find a place to stay. I am not even sure that Marloth is safe for me all alone.

As far as you know
I never used to bother with being afraid, but after some appalling stories of what happens in SA lately, has had me re-think it a bit.

It's terribly expensive. But I do fly to Nelspruit or Phalaborwa respectively.

Phalaborwa and the park route then. Should be the safest way
