Leaving camp the next morning we decided to drive some loops then head off to Berg en Dal for some fuel .

The gang was returning back down the main road
Image

Image

The sun was rising through a cloud layer
Image

We spent a bit of time with the Gang but soon they were on their way again .
Image

We did a loop but it was very quiet apart from this little fellow
Image

We went over Steilberg and coming down towards Berg en Dal we ran into a roadblock
Image

He was trying to reach the fruit in the Marula trees so we just sat and watched ,he did appear to be in Musth
Image

While we were waiting we got to enjoy some birds Green Pigeons
Image

A juvenile Batleur -O-
Image

Image

The Ellie had moved up the hill and started working on another fruit tree .We decided we could pass and we drove up and stopped to watch
Image

The Ellie suddenly shook the tree and we got pelted with falling Marula fruit .It was actually quite funny in hindsight but quite  when it happened . He then proceeded to scoop up the fruit and we moved off as there was other vehicles also now waiting .
Image

Some more eagles on a nest
Image

Image

We filled up with Fuel and had breakfast of chips and Coffee at the restaurant before heading back to camp to do some work .

If you had not stopped for the elephant, you might have lost the birds ;-) ^Q^ ^Q^
