It was only then that we noticed that we had another, younger Silver Eye in the Kgalagadi O-/

Are you certain that this is a young male? From the photos I would have actually thought it was an old one .
And Silver Eye only died in August anyway. So, couldn't it be himself anyways? :-?

Hi Mel

Yes possibly an old male, but I don't think it is Silver Eye as the eye is not as silver as his. We have seen quite a few one-eyed lions in the park over the past few years
But I am not an authority on the matter

I don’t think we went out for a last evening drive, as I can see no pictures taken in the early evening, (and we don’t have any notes of the last two days)

We most probably stayed in camp and enjoyed our last evening of bliss before hitting civilization again
