So after a break at camp we left for the afternoon drive .We decide to drive back to where we had been with the dogs to look for them again.

One of the marshes on the side of the road had turned into a dam .We stopped to watch the ducks .

Image

We stopped and looked for the dogs and saw movement way at the top of the ridge . Cars came and went as we explained the dogs were there but not yet active .
Image

After about an hour the dogs decided to get up and our lucky dog day continued they moved towards the road .
Image

Image

They soon arrived right by us on the road.
Image

But of course being dogs they just kept on going giving the OSV passengers a good show as well
Image

We even had the Alpha Female with her new collar come by
Image

There were dogs all arround but we had run out of time to get back to camp so we left them and headed back to camp
Image

On the way back we met a Hyhena on the way out
Image

We headed back to camp for our last night .It was again a quieter night at the braai with no visitors coming begging .

The following morning we packed up and headed out to go to Malelane for our last night ,just for Lis we met some Hyenas on their way home

Image

At Nesamani a water monitor posed for us
Image

We stopped in at Satara and headed down the H1-3 towards Tshokwane .We came across some ground hornbills not on the ground .
Image

About half way between the two we came across a lovely cross section of wildlife .Some time with a Kori Bustard
Image

Image

Part of a big herd of Zebra who wondered into the road behind us
Image

After we got past the Zebra we found a big flock of Ostriches with the youngsters in the grass
Image

and then they all stood up
Image

as we were the only car to get past the herd crossing we just started to pull off from this and I saw movement on the side and there was some spots .
Image

We were the only vehicle for a few minutes and managed to get some lovely pics
Image

They were watching all the wildlife we had just passed and soon moved as did we
Image

and then they climbed up onto more stumps to get another view and mark territory
Image

By this stage quite a few more vehicles had joined the sighting
Image

Image

They climbed off and moved into a shady spot togerther .We took a last few pics and turned back around to carry on our trip very happy with the days sighting

\O Thanks Pumba the Cheetah was a huge bonus sighting for us ,Had it been the previous day when were staying in the area we would probably have happily stayed the rest of the day there.
