Nice lion sightings.

The lovely lady is definitely pregnant, but maybe she is not a lady O**

The other ones are certainly full lol

And I think, you are the very first person who ever reported to have acutally camped at Two Rivers. I've always thought that that camp was just a myth. lol But, boy, it looks filthy 0-
Luckily Twee Rivieren is close by so we showered and abluted there as much as possible and dug a pee hole at the campsite for emergencies

To carry on.

Just before Kij Kij we came across two separate cheetahs, high up on the dunes some apart

They were really not going anywhere after watching them for a good hour, so we carried on

Kij Kij waterhole on the other hand was a little busy

A comfort stop and coffee at Melkvlei followed before we retraced our steps to Kij Kij and set off a really badly corrugated Lower Dune Road to Achterlonie

Along the way we went up to the Kij Gamies lookout, which never disappoints

At Auchterlonie, breakfast was the order of the day

And after that, we had a few really nice bird sightings on our way back to camp at Two Rivers

Further on, not sure where

We then had another relaxed evening at Two Rivers

Just to say, besides the ablutions at Two Rivers, we really enjoyed the campsite
It is quiet and really peaceful, and with no other camper in the campsite it is really nice
If Botswana would only a) repair and maintain the ablutions or b) place long drops in place of the toilets, I am sure that the campsite would be really popular with South African tourists
(Just my 5 cents worth)

Lovely bird shots ^Q^

Was there water at the "Two Rivers" ablutions?

@Lisbeth Yes there was. I managed to clean one so as that we could use it if totally necessary. We tended to go to Twee Rivieren though

@ Mel
On 6 May at 9.15 and 9.36, just south of Kij Kij
