That afternoon we left camp .We decided to drive the S121 .Not far down the road we found a minor traffic jam and there in the dried up waterhole were some Lions .

Image

After a while we realised there was a vehicle closer to the Lions and driving down the road we found a sideroad that led down to the waterhole so we went down to join them .

Image

After a while we decided to carry on the drive and come back as the Lions were not going anywhere .

After driving to the end of the road and finding nothing much of interest we turned around and came back. The Pride had moved a bit and was more active there was now a number of cars down the small side road so we stayed on the main road .

We stayed until the GPS said we would get to the gate at gate closing then left .Of course we met the usual crowd heading out for the night ;-)

We drove back to camp and had some Chicken Kebabs on the braai just for RP
