I've been seeing this pair settling in across the way a few days now, and it's looking good that they may nest. There are usually Herring Gulls here, but this is the first time Lesser Black-backed Gulls have set up in the town, though there are good numbers of them breeding on the headlands nearby.

An orange-breasted bush-shrike, in focus, badly composed, but nevertheless, a great memory for me

Some more pics from Footloose Trout Farm. This Red Bishop kept me entertained for ages. -O It was obviously putting on a show for its mate, and would puff itself up, then deflate, then stretch and puff up again! =O:
