Have you ever stopped on a road to photograph birds next to the road, or on a fence, or on poles 0*\

I always do it with much caution and safety though.

This looks so much like a pin-tailed whydah without the pin-tailed. Maybe it's only a whydah then.

I regularly stop on my way home from work to watch the storks / kites / buzzards / geese / cranes / falcons - whatever interesting is around. :-0

When I visit my Dad in VDbijlpark, I take a detour drive to Suikerbosrand's entrance and back, and these were on the dividing fences.

One of my previous Diedericks and Black shouldered kites I posted, were also on this main road. ^Q^

Rose-ringed Parakeets in Milano....or at least close 0- Very exotic, but they seem kind of out of place. On the other hand also the population is changing, why shouldn't the birds :-0 The Woodpecker is lovely O\/
