Last night, while visiting a friend we heard an owl calling so went to look for it. We found two in the tree next door!! O/\ Not sure what they were as it was too dark and they flew off soon after, but still exciting to see them! O:V Also saw there was an owl box in the tree so I'm sure they are regulars.

Plenty of swallows catching insects today... I think these are lesser striped and barn varieties. Not the easiest of subjects to catch in flight :O^
