Amoli, that is a stunning photo demonstration of the hard work the barbet did. ^Q^

Great photos of the bulbuls and the mousebirds (and it looks like sparrows with the bulbuls?) , Peter! \O

Yes Lis, there is markings made with a circular saw and you can either remove some of the outer bark or leave it for the barbet to remove.
I have not named them.. :o0ps: Maybe you should make a suggestion \O

I will post a pic of the complete log and it will show the two holes. I was impressed that I at least got the direction right. =O:
