Joan and I watched a young Common Fiscal busy in our garden who was joined a little later by his Mom.

Youngster on garage roof.

Youngster that caught a corn cricket by himself and proceeded to beat on the garden wall to soften it up and then flew off with it.

A short while later he flew back and sat on the top of our young boerboon tree.

A few minutes later Mom came and sat in the lower branches of the tree. Could not fit the two of them together in one photo.

Mom then caught a corn cricket and went to sit on the garden wall..................

.........only for the youngster to come along and take it from her.
