it's a Black Bird, but the Sparrows all flew away lol

Hi all,

Since the Coal Tits fledged, we have seen broods of Blue Tits, Great Tits and Tree Sparrows from our balconies. In addition, a singing male Firecrest has been hanging around.

This morning, I heard a buzzy call from the apricot tree below our southern balcony and found this little guy, a fledgeling Common Redstart:

Nice!! A few years ago we had a nest of redstarts on a beam of the balcony, high up....what a mess underneath lol but they were sooo nice. A few days after you had posted the pics of the coal tits I saw one in the garden :yes: O/\
