Our cute long-tailed tits meanwhile finished breeding since Easter but before the Little ones left the nest we could capture one of the parents whilst searching for Food for the little ones

Hopefully they will return next year again in choosing our bamboo for breeding.

We just returned from a long weekend from Amrum a smaller Island in the North Sea famous for it's birds - Needless to say that we brought back a lot and if you like I would like to share some of them here with you

Never saw that many and nearly tame pheasants as during these 3 days ever before - Especially in the dunes they occured plentiful and on nearly each dune one of them was sitting.

Amrum... Never been there although we travel to Föhr every six months or so. :-0

Would love to see more! Especially since I could compare to what I saw on Föhr not so long ago. \O

Thanks so much Toko, Mel, Lisbeth, nan and Flutterby for your interest and lovely comments \O

Mel - You must visit Amrum and maybe next time you choose the other ferry ^0^

The salt marsh were invaded by thousand of Grey geese and same already were successful in raising some goslings although it was funny to watch the different sizes of the goslings. Some were already larger than the others - It was extreme noisy but a more than fantastic sighting

In the following a couple of goslings and adult grey goose
