That was a very small lizard ;-) The Kingfishers are all so pretty, that you have to forgive them :yes:

I told you of the African Olive Pigeon that came to visit my garden. This past weekend it returned – bringing with it a friend -

They were nervously looking around for any danger -

They then decided that they will take turns in drinking while the other one stood watch -

The Kingfishers visit at least once a week and when they call I run outside with the camera, you can actually get very close to them and they don't mind the dogs, normally they sit on the phone line and that does not make great pics. The day the one caught the lizzard my dash hound Lulu was eyeing the same lizzard and the Kingfisher just grabed it right in front of her, I missed the action shot of cause O/ O/

Amoli, great to have the pigeons in your garden! I've seen them near the river over the road from us but never in our garden. ;-)
