I just had to go looking for the Bokmakie Flutts.... -O -O

Yesterday afternoon I took a quick drive and had 2 lifers, 1 first in Rietvlei and just a cutie.

Lovely photos Amoli. \O ^Q^

We see the Bokmakierie along the road to the cafe whenever we are in the reserve. In fact, I think that's the only area we have found them so far.

Lovely pics again Amoli.

Congrats on getting the Bokmakierie.

A CBS at Rietvlei - that's new to me. Well done.

I did a trip through Rietvlei last Sunday, maybe just to see if some migratory birds have returned yet.
Sorry Mel, nothing to report yet. \O

I saw two 'new' birdies .. ;-)

I spent a long time at the otter dam - waiting to see the otter. After about a hour, I saw in movement in my rear view mirror,
and it was the otter. I grabbed my camera and just started clicking, hoping that sometime it would come into focus 0*\
This was my best pic... and I promise you, it is there... =O: =O:
