Re: Rietvlei Nature Reserve through Greenies' Eyes
While enjoying the sunset, I was sitting at Otter bridge when a Hammerkop flew up from the stream,
and sat down in the middle of the road. He had dinner
I had to lean out of the window, stop breathing and control my excitement while taking these pics.
I loved it... - hope you enjoy them too.
This fishy was obviously a 'little big'. He was tossing and turning it to make it fit into his throat.
There you are, it's going, swallow... try again...
Gulp... down you go... gulp... down, down...
If that was dinner.. I've had mine.
Wow, it was amazing to watch.

Agree, Amoli - very exciting sighting!
God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

Great sequence Amoli!!
Sometimes it’s not until you don’t see what you want to see, that you truly open your eyes.

This is not a clear picture - but it shows I do look up sometimes..
Is it a laughing dove - but first time I noticed the pattern ..beautiful..
