Another trip through Rietvlei, with my nephew (at nearly 30 his first time in a Nature Reserve  ), and as alway there was something 'new' I saw... \O

A Rufous naped Lark under the rainbow... :-0

Image

First time in Rietvlei and now I see why they call it the Fan-tailed Wydah... ;-) *EDIT* It is a white winged Widowbird - thanks Toko. X#X

A Cape Longclaw colleting nest material.. \O

Image

A thick knee - seen before. I loved the early morning light shining on it

Image

A greater striped swallow taking off after a drink in the puddle in the road

Image

Seeing double :-?

Image

And as we were leaving - A reed buck - a lifer for me... O/\ O/\

Great pics Amoli! ^Q^
Like the ''Seeing Double"! ^0^
We saw the reedbuck in the same place as you (I think, judging from the vegetation around him...must be where they hang out! ^0^ )
