Sadly, one of the cubs has died. :-( Visitors noticed last week that one cub was not looking well - it was probably the runt of the litter.

Very sad news Flutterby - I was not aware of this. :-(

However the remaining 5 look very healthy and happy.

Yesterday my dad and I popped into Rietvlei for a quick visit, hoping to find some of the cheetahs.

First up was a lonely eland.

Just past the coffee shop we found the buffalos!! ^Q^ It's been quite a while since we saw them, so it was quite exciting! ;-) The buffs were also quite excited! O**

Sad about the cheetah, but that is a very big litter! :-(

Great selection, Flutts...what are the buffalo doing? 0- -O-

Apparently it's the buffs that are killing the cubs. :-( -O-

The buffs were playing leap frog. :yes:
